The Taj Mahal. Agra, India
Every time I see a famous picture, I remember my wonderful trip to the eastern country. One of the most interesting trips happened to me in 2010 near the month of March. I'm with two my friends decided to visit an exotic country in the International Women's Day. Many interesting sights we've seen. Today I want to tell you about the magnificent temple Taj Mahal. This temple is considered one of the new seven wonders of the world. Our path to one of the wonders of the world was not a short but very fascinating. We drove 6 hours in a taxi from Delhi to Agra. And then half an hour for a camel to the temple.
And here we stand at the gates of luxury in anticipation of the spectacle. The gates are opened and before us the divine temple. The whiteness of marble shone in the rays of the scorching sun day. Actually it is a mausoleum, the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal - wife of Shah Jahan, the ruler of the Mughal dynasty. It was built in 1630. Five-domed building height of 74 m, 2 mosques, 4 minarets, as well as a broken park, brought in the UNESCO list of universal heritage. The most memorable fact of staying at the temple - a large number of Indians in colorful costumes, which are lined up to take a picture with us (Russian), as the second attraction of the area.
